Our dedicated team includes staff with NVQ Level 5, 3, and 2 qualifications, along with substantial early years childcare experience; all staff attend regular meetings, training and First Aid courses.

We are always looking for and needing new people to join the Committee as it is a Committee run playgroup and is essential to have parent members in order to survive.

Please do enquire and sign up for the good of the playgroup.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE COMMITTEE:

• Are collectively responsible for managing the group.
• Must appoint a Chairperson, a Secretary, and a Treasurer.
• Must be aware of and comply with current legislation.
• Recruit and line-manage the staff.
• Must do their best to ensure the financial stability of the group.
• Must try to recruit future members of the committee!
• Does/does not employ an administrator or bookkeeper.
• Does/does not have a fundraising sub-group.

Please don’t be put off by any of this list. Many of these roles are carried out day to day by the Manager and staff.
